Im not much of a writer but here are some things that I want to remember for next time:
- Make reservations for the hotels and vans early
- Have the team get Venmo to pay for everything
- Pay for things 1 month at a time (hotel 1 month, Van next month) so it doesn't all happen at once
- Getting a cheap motel at a middle exchange so that the team can shower and possibly rest
- Make sure you have an extra change of clothes for after the race
- Enough protein after each run for a good recovery
- Good real meals for the van like chicken and avocado wraps
- Hand Sanitizer
- Body Wipes
- Trash bags
- Zip Lock Bags
- Togo Wet Wipes for Porto-potty
- Toilet Paper
- Coordinate Van 1 and Van 2 to be at finish early
- Roll out your muscles with foam roller between legs
- Leave runner at exchange 6 and go directly to exchange 7 to avoid traffic jam
- 2 cases of water
- No glitter in the van
- Track all runners with a GPS app
- Plan out meal stops with your van prior to the start of the race to save time and get more sleep
- Have designated box/bag that your run stuff (GPS, Headphones, ect) goes into between legs
- Have in-between running clothes such as sweats
